1. Information We Collect

Personal Data and Notes (Local Storage): QuickNote is a privacy-first application. All the notes, text, and ideas you create within the App are stored entirely locally on your device's internal storage using a local database. We do not upload, sync, or store your notes on external servers. We do not have access to, and cannot read, your notes.

Voice Data (Microphone): The App utilizes your device's native speech recognition capabilities to provide voice-to-text dictation. When you use this feature, your voice data is processed by your device's built-in speech recognizer (which may be powered by Google depending on your device settings). We do not record, store, or transmit your audio data to our own servers. The voice input is strictly used in real-time to transcribe text into your notes.

2. Third-Party Services and Advertisements

While we do not collect personal data directly to our servers, the App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, primarily for serving advertisements and improving app performance.

Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial ads. AdMob is an advertising service provided by Google. AdMob may use device identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID, and cookies to serve personalized ads based on your interests, usage patterns, and location data gathered by Google.

3. Permissions Requested

The App requests the following device permissions to function properly:

• Microphone: Required solely for the voice-to-text dictation feature. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
• Internet Access & Network State: Required to serve advertisements via Google AdMob and to process speech recognition requests via your device's native services.

4. Data Security

Because your notes are stored locally on your device, their security is directly tied to the security of your physical device. We strongly recommend utilizing your device's built-in security features (such as a PIN, password, pattern, or biometric lock) to protect your device and your notes from unauthorized access.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take necessary actions.
